I’m an adventure seeker! Year after year, I enjoy hiking deep into the wilderness to catch that elusive trout, competing in the most challenging cycling races of the season, and catching air up on the mountain! My passion is to help others get fit and stay fit so they can relish in these types of epic moments, too! It is my hope that I may have the privilege of working with you to achieve your fitness goals so you can live your most adventurous and fulfilling life.
I grew up in the Flathead Valley, where free time was best spent fishing, hunting, or skiing. My love for fitness led me to the University of Montana in 2013 to pursue a BS in Exercise Science and also to become a certified personal trainer. Upon graduating, I chose to work outdoors as a line clearance arborist and equipment operator. I am passionate about hard work and the reward it brings. However, exercise is medicine and this philosophy is what ultimately brought me back to fitness and wellness.
I love mountain biking, kayaking, hiking and cross-country skiing here in the Flathead. I love and enjoy people and I am excited to help you live a full and exciting life through greater health and fitness. The greater your health and fitness the more you’ll be capable of both physically and personally.
I have worked as an addictions counselor for 18 years, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer with American College of Sports Medicine, (ACSM), and a trained wellness coach.
I was born in the Netherlands, and lived there until I was six years old when we moved to the Flathead Valley. I love to snowboard, hike, play the piano and, of course, I love to train. While working at a Physical Therapy Center, I noticed how important it was to have a custom and tailored workout program to reach the goals of each person. This led me to personal training. I am a good listener and truly enjoy hearing about my clients lives. Celebrating their accomplishments inside and outside the studio is very rewarding for me.
I am a proud mother of six beautiful children. I have always been active but after having six babies I had gained a lot of weight. With a lot of hard work and dedication, I have been able to lose 100 pounds and totally changed my family's lifestyle. While training myself, I also started training my kids, including my son with special needs. His training bettered his life in such a major way, that I decided to pursue my license as a Personal Trainer and a Nutrition Coach. I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their journey. With hard work, all things are within reach! (Check out my transformation here
